As a consulting partner on a contract supporting the Office of Communications and Knowledge Transfer (OCKT) and Public Affairs, we worked on a variety of marketing, communications, and industry outreach projects. For over six years we have worked with many different AHRQ staff and managers, our fellow contractor team members, and professionals from other contracting companies.
Our accomplishments include the following:
- Development of marketing and communications strategies, plans and project recommendations for the National Resource Center (NRC) for Health IT
- Subject matter consultation on health IT topics, particularly in the area of decision support, quality reporting and guideline integration, business intelligence, electronic health records (EHRs), and patient education products
- Research and creation of an “Impact Case Study“ focusing on an innovative, award-winning AHRQ grantee project using telemedicine, provider organization partnerships, a state public health agency, and pharmaceutical programs to provide care and disease management services to various rural locations in the State of New Mexico
- Management of an outreach and partnership building initiative between the agency and leading health IT, patient education, and quality measurement companies
